We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Carver County, Minnesota. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
