Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Missoula County, Montana. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day-to-day duties: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
