Urgent requirement: reinforcement fitter (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Macon County, Illinois. The job is at a high-rise construction project. The role involves place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 2+ years on the tools preferred.
