Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The role involves respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Pay around $10,250 per project, based on your experience.
