MIG/MAG welder wanted in Jewell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Jewell County, Kansas. You will be based at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
