Production line technician — Sunderland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production line technician in Sunderland, England. The job is in a food processing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Diagnose and repair breakdowns on production machinery to minimize downtime • Order and manage spare parts inventory for critical equipment • Calibrate sensors, gauges and control instruments • Weld and fabricate brackets, guards and replacement parts as needed • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance on motors, pumps and gearboxes • Isolate and lock out machinery before starting repair work You should have: • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills • Lockout/tagout and electrical safety training Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
