Offshore rigger — Sullivan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
