Lift technician — Garden County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift technician in Garden County, Nebraska. You will work on a lift modernisation project. Day-to-day duties: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
