Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Kebbe, Sokoto State. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
