We are recruiting: we are hiring a site carpenter in Udenu, Enugu State. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Ideal candidate: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles Part-time with flexible hours.
