Vacancy available: renewable heating engineer (Scotland)

Join our team: we are hiring a renewable heating engineer in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will work at a new-build housing development. Day-to-day duties: • Survey the property and calculate heat loss room by room • Fit and wire room thermostats, zone valves and smart controls • Hand over the system to the customer and explain the controls • Braze copper refrigerant lines using oxy-acetylene or nitrogen purge • Mount the outdoor unit on anti-vibration brackets on a solid base • Run and insulate refrigerant pipework between outdoor and indoor units Ideal candidate: • F-Gas Category 1 certification or equivalent refrigerant handling cert • Knowledge of heat loss calculations and system sizing • Own set of refrigerant tools: gauges, vacuum pump, scales At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £2,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
