AC mechanic • Lincoln County, Maine

Now hiring: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Lincoln County, Maine. You will be based at an air conditioning service centre. On a typical shift you will recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator. You should have: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
