Vacancy available: gas metal arc welder (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Lincoln County, Kentucky. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances 4+ years on the tools preferred. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
