Stamping press operator — Clinton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Clinton County, Indiana. You will work at an auto components factory. The role involves watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
