Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Wyoming County, New York. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Day-to-day duties: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
