Lift maintenance fitter wanted in Van Buren County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Van Buren County, Michigan. You will work at a busy lift company. You will run load and overload tests with test weights; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 5+ years on the tools preferred.
