Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Mississippi County, Arkansas. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On a typical shift you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc.
