Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Shasta County, California. You will work on an earthmoving and excavation site. The role involves load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; stockpile and spread material to the required levels. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
