Urgent requirement: we are hiring an access control officer in Derby, England. You will be based in a corporate office building. What we are looking for: • Alert, disciplined and punctual • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point; patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience.
