We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality checker in Lewis County, New York. You will work in an automotive parts factory. You will measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation. You should have: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
