Canteen cook • Dona Ana County, New Mexico

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Day to day you will follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency.
