Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Henderson County, Illinois. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements The role involves inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift.
