You should have: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec On a typical shift you will clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover.
