Steam press operator wanted in Putnam County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Putnam County, Florida. The job is in a garment export house. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves: • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $7,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
