Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Wood County, West Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • A good head for heights and steady balance The role involves seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater; insulate and ventilate the roof void; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
