You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling On the job you will handle: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Full-time with occasional weekends.
