Brick and block layer — Pearl River County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Pearl River County, Mississippi. You will be based at a residential building site. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On the job you will handle: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder 6+ years on the tools preferred.
