Immediate opening: offshore rigger (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Frio County, Texas. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Day to day you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience.
