Steel fixing chargehand • City and Borough of Salford, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in City and Borough of Salford, England. The role involves: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Full-time, day shift.
