Immediate opening: gas meter installer (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Brooks County, Texas. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. Day-to-day duties: • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Pay around $16 per hour, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
