Immediate opening: we are hiring a godown forklift operator in Craig County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch • Read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Accurate, careful stock handling • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required 3+ years on the tools preferred.
