Vacancy available: argon welder (Anambra State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Oyi, Anambra State. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
