Plant operator (dozer) • City of Bristol, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in City of Bristol, England. You will work on a quarry floor. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
