Elevator service technician — Ziebach County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Ziebach County, South Dakota. You will work in a residential tower block. Day to day you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Overtime paid at a premium rate.
