Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Cheshire East, England. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
