Horizontal milling machine operator • Martin County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Martin County, Texas. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Your main tasks: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
