The role involves help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity.
