Great opportunity: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Catoosa County, Georgia. You will work on a road construction project. The role involves operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving. Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Six days a week, one day off.
