AC installation technician • Iowa County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Iowa County, Iowa. You will work at a busy AC installation company. Day to day you will insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge; clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow. Ideal candidate: • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules 2+ years on the tools preferred.
