Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. The role involves: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams We offer £2,000 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
