Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Geary County, Kansas. You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift 1+ years on the tools preferred.
