Immediate opening: we are hiring a deboner in Archuleta County, Colorado. Your main tasks: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
