Ladle pourer wanted in Brewster County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Brewster County, Texas. You will be based on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
