Aluminium TIG welder • Kosciusko County, Indiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Kosciusko County, Indiana. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Six days a week, one day off.
