Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Clarendon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Clarendon County, South Carolina. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day to day you will install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
