Immediate opening: core maker (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Darke County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
