Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Borough of Stockport, England. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Full-time, day shift.
