Sheet metal welder wanted in Huron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Huron County, Michigan. On the job you will handle: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
