Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Hopkins County, Texas. The role involves: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements You should have: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 6+ years on the tools preferred.
