We are recruiting: we are hiring a vehicle technician in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. The job is on the workshop ramps. Ideal candidate: • Own set of hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on experience as a car mechanic • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals Day to day you will diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool; trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems; replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters; carry out oil and filter changes. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around £1,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
